FIVE-TIME sidecar World Champion Steve Webster MBE and passenger David James - with two wins out of two under their belts - arrive at Donington Park for tomorrow's British Grand Prix in confident mood.

Commanding victories in Austria and Holland have given Webster a 17 point lead as he approaches Donington Park in what has become a rare event for him - actually racing on home soil.

There hasn't been a sidecar race at the British Grand Prix since 1996 and Webbo's last race in the UK was in early 1997 at a British championship round at Snetterton.

Webster is keen to return to the track that has seen so much success for him in the past, declaring: "I'm really looking forward to racing again at Donington - it's always been one of my favourite tracks and it's great to have a 'home' Grand Prix again.

"It seems like a long time since we raced at Donington and I can't wait to get on with business."

Webster will be racing on the swooping two-and-a-half mile circuit for the 11th time at World Championship level since the Grand Prix moved there from Silverstone in 1987.
