Scotland will get a chance to avenge their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brazil in the Evening Press World Cup for youngsters.
The tournament is being staged at the University of York on Saturday mornings throughout the duration of France 98.
There are two sections for under 11s and under 13s with each team adopting the name of one of the World Cup countries.
The first match is a repeat of yesterday's opening game in the magnificent Stade de France when 80,000 fans saw champions Brazil beat Craig Brown's tartan army.
Representing Brazil in the Evening Press World Cup are Hamilton Panthers, while Scotland's boots will be filled by Carr United.
The Evening Press competition has been further boosted by sponsorship from Nestl Rowntree, who have clinched a massive sponsorship deal with the FA Premier League which means the firm's Yorkie bar - manufactured in York - will be the 'official confectionary' of the Premier League.
As part of their sponsorship of the Evening Press World Cup the company will produce five special editions of the Evening Press to distribute free to youngsters taking part in the competition.
The junior competition kicks off on Saturday morning and will be staged over the following four Saturdays with the final being held on World Cup Final day on Sunday, July 12.
Pools A and B contain Under 11 teams and Pools C and D are for Under 13s.
If colours clash then the first-named team will change.
Teams should provide their own ball and the referee will decide on the match ball.
Results will be published in the Evening Press and in the University Sports Centre.
