A York pub was transformed into a football stadium, as the atmosphere flowed for yesterday's clash between Scotland and Brazil.
The Brewers Arms in Tanner Row, like hundreds of pubs around North Yorkshire, showed the first of the World Cup matches.
And, with rattles, hats and wigs thrown in, it was more like being at the big match than watching it on TV.
Manager Michael Burdon said: "We had about 200 people in here, which amazed me for a Scotland game, but when they scored you really knew who was being supported.
"The pub's got a stadium feel to it, with supporters standing on different tiers. When England play Tunisia on Monday the place is really going to come alive."
