A Wetherby design agency is celebrating its tenth birthday with a new team at the helm and a new focus on electronic media.
Communication Design, on the Thorp Arch estate, is also marking its anniversary with a string of new account wins, increasing its turnover to more than £2 million and placing it in the top five in Yorkshire.
New managing director Rob Davies spearheads a new team featuring Dominic Frary as newly-appointed creative director, in charge of the agency's 24-strong creative department.
Another appointee, Marshall Sapherson, is leading a major expansion into electronic media. He was the former director of Multimedia Unit at the University of Huddersfield and will build a specialist team to handle mulitmedia and Internet consultancy and production services, including electronic presentation, inter-active product catalogues, and web site design.
Helen Lee, senior account manager, will help to handle the agency's growing number of clients. Recent account wins are in sectors as diverse as food manufacturing and the telecommunications industry.
