PLAY-MAKER Lee Hanlan may be out of York Rugby League Club's top-of-the-table clash with Oldham.
Coach Dean Robinson was today awaiting further information concerning the head injury suffered by the stand-off in Sunday's 29-8 victory over Doncaster Dragons.
Hanlan, a try scorer against the Dragons at Belle Vue, was substituted in the 39th minute after receiving a bang on the head.
And Robinson revealed the half-back would miss the Roughyeds' visit on Sunday if the club physiotherapist believes the player suffered concussion.
"Hanlan picked up a knock on the back of the head. I need to speak to the physio and if we believe it was concussion he will more than likely have to sit out next weekend as a precautionary measure," said the coach.
Should Hanlan be ruled out then John Strange, who replaced the stand-off on Sunday, is on standby to start only his second game for the club.
The Australian's debut against Bramley at full-back was cut short after just eight minutes by a serious ankle ligament injury.
