All change! After his all-too-brief moment of glory as a daily winner of Supershare, Graham Chapman of Haxby is OUT. And Bob Watts of York is IN.

Shy Bob of Balfour Street, York, leaps into fame ahead of 7,000 entrants so far, as a daily winner of the £50 prize, which will be presented to him by sponsors of our talk-of-the-region share investment competition, the independent financial advisers, Walsh Lucas and Company, of Micklegate, York.

The question is now: has he peaked too early to win the ultimate £2,000 first prize, or £1,000 runner-up pot at the end of the competition on March 30? Time and economic tides will tell.

One of Bob's 16 entries soared on the back of a stock market which moved up 36 points to close at 5,818 maintaining the impetus of Friday's bullishness.

To enter Supershare '98 you must submit an original Evening Press entry form which appear in the Evening Press each day until March 30, 1998.
