The profits and perils of public and private tourism partnerships will be revealed at a seminar at St William's College, opposite York Minster, on Wednesday.
The event has been organised by the Tourism Society so many of its membership of 1,300 tourism professionals can learn from Northern local and city authorities which boast some of the finest tourism partnerships in Britain.
Representing First Stop York will be Tony Bennett, head of economic development for the City of York Council, Gillian Cruddas, chief executive of York Tourism Bureau, and David Andrews, head of the Yorkshire Tourist Board's marketing services.
Also speaking will be Jane Brantom, of Hadrian's Wall Tourism Partnership and, for Leeds' Gateway Yorkshire, Guy Wilson, Master of the Armouries.
