FORMER York City junior Chris Tate is poised for his first start in a Scarborough shirt in place of leading scorer Gareth Williams.
Williams, who has bagged 14 goals this season, will be missing from tonight's side to face Peterborough United at London Road (7.45pm) after suffering concussion in Saturday's defeat at Notts County.
Tate is competing with ex-York striker Neil Campbell, who has been out for two weeks with a groin injury, for a place alongside in-form front man Steve Brodie.
Central defender Jason Rockett, who is soldiering on through knee trouble, is expected to come into the side in place of Paul Atkin after being rested on Saturday.
Captain Ian Snodin is likely to continue in the sweeper role despite suffering a fresh knock on an injured foot at Meadow Lane.
"It is another tough game but one we can win," said manager Mick Wadsworth. "I am not too worried about going anywhere if we perform like we did on Saturday."
