FIFTY points is the next big target for the Minstermen as manager Alan Little prepares to pit wits with ex-England boss Graham Taylor.
Little has outlined 50 points as the most immediate goal for City as the season enters its final third.
Said Little: "That's the first main objective, 50 points. When we get there I will look to 60. From there I will look to towards 70 and then, who knows."
Victory over Watford would put City within five points of the first target and would also be a feather in the cap for Little against the man who helped to get Watford off the hook in the clubs' first meeting five months ago.
City dominated the first hour of the trip to Vicarage Road in October leading through a Neil Tolson goal.
But Little recalled that a switch in game-plan by Taylor, who led England from 1990-93, wrested victory from City.
Said Little: "We were better than them until he made a change. Watford got out of jail that day.
"It is a big challenge for me to be able to try and match somebody like Graham Taylor, who has been a manager at the highest level.
"The important thing, though is for us to win."
