A SEMINAR on business success itself proved such a success that organisers are already planning a follow-up.
More than 50 representatives from across North Yorkshire's business community attended the development workshop in York, hosted by business guru Tom Edge.
"Everyone who attended at the Stakis York Hotel said it had been extremely informative and we want to build on that with a second seminar later in the year," said Phil Gees, head of Small Business at Barclays, York, who helped organise the event with Business Link North Yorkshire.
"Delegates ranged from shop-fitters and solicitors to photographers and accountants, so we were delighted to be able to help such a cross-section of the business community," he added.
Tom Edge's tips for success ranged from ideas on goal-setting and customer care to forward planning and staff motivation.
Mr Gees said: "We are planning the next seminar for the second half of the year and the aim is to have a complementary theme to this first workshop."
