HARROGATE, close to relegation frame in Jewson's National League division one, conceded the double to visitors Rugby by 21-7 at Claro Road.
Chances went begging and Harrogate were forced into errors.
Jim Quantrill kicked two penalties to put Rugby 6-0 ahead at the interval.
Rugby skipper Mark Ellis increased their lead with an unconverted try over on the left hand side.
When Harrogate were caught off-side Quantrill added the penalty goal. He later converted a penalty try following a five metre scrum infringement.
Lee Feurer crossed for a home consolation try just right of the posts and Dan Clappison kicked the conversion.
Mark Tice and Tim Wilcox made their debuts for Pocklington in their non-league match at GooleAfter holding the North East Division One side to a 17-15 half time lead, Pocklington fell away and lost 37-15.
Former York fly half Kevin Bowling and centre Neil Hill scored Pocklington's tries. Graeme Hales kicked a conversion and a penalty before retiring with ankle ligament trouble.
Goole scored seven mainly unconverted tries through winger Steve Wraith (2), fly-half James Ruhman (2), scrum-half Mark Newman, hooker Sean Kellet and Julian Patrick. Ruhman kicked their only conversion.
North East Division One front-runners, Old Crossleyans beat Selby from North East Three 15-11 with a goal, an unconverted try and a penalty goal to an unconverted try for Selby by centre Craig Maxwell and two penalties by Ray Adamson.
The Driffield side that beat York 8-3 in North Two last week went down 31-17 on their own ground to Northern on Saturday.
The league leaders scored three goals and two unconverted tries to Driffield's two goals and a penalty goal.
Originally down to play Acklam in a non-league game, Northallerton were obliged to catch up on their delayed Yorkshire League programme and won 31-13 at Dinnington after playing with wind advantage had helped them lead 21-5 at half time.
No 8 Steve Robinson (2), Gary Appleyard, Josh Allerton and Stephen Ward scored Northallerton's tries, Mick Robinson adding the goal points. Dinnington scored two goals, an unconverted try and a penalty.
In a delayed Yorkshire Three game, York RI beat their visitors Hessle by 29-10 with tries by No 8 John Alexander (2), Steve Fawcett, Phil Ambler and Dan Hughes, Tony Carr adding two conversions.
Hessle's centres Darren Grice and James Walker replied with tries.
In delayed game in Yorkshire Five Rowntree were pipped 17-15 at Rawmarsh. Olly Turner and Dave Sowray scored Rowntree's tries and Steve Varey added a conversion and a penalty.
Rawmarsh scored two unconverted tries, their goal (seven points) clinching victory for the home side in the last minute.
In a non-league match Malton and Norton beat higher ranked Ripon 20-17 off the last kick of the game when Andy Newsome kicked a penalty.
No 8 Ed Gwilliam, lock Chris Lewis and winger Dave Seekings scored Malton's tries, Newsome adding a conversion and the match-winning penalty.
Ripon's scoring pattern was similar, their tries being touched down by prop forward Al Ross, wing forward Jim Anderson and centre Jim Buckley, Roger Dawson adding a conversion.
Guisborough went down 19-12 to visitors Wetherby, scoring a goal and an unconverted try replying to Wetherby's two converted tries through threequarters Wayne Pawson, Shaun Walsh and Andy Leatham, Dan Pawson adding two conversion.
Kenny Brockless led York Cavaliers to a 35-15 victory over Ship Inn Marauders scoring two goals, three unconverted tries and two penalties to a goal and an unconverted try for the Ship on the Knavesmire.
Huddersfield YMCA and Yarnbury meet in the Independent Agriculture Yorkshire Shield final. Huddersfield YMCA triumphed 25-9 at Ilkley and Yarnbury beat West Leeds 29-19 in the semi-finals.
In the Silver Trophy semi-finals, Skipton beat visitors Airebronians 17-13 and Leeds Corinthians hammered Marist 27-3.
The Trophy final is due to be played on Sunday, March 22, and the Shield Final the following Sunday, March 29, both at venues yet to be decided.
