THE letter from Aled Jones about the monarchy not giving the British people value for money is a disgrace (July 8).
Our wonderful queen - what an example she sets to us all - the Duke of Edinburgh and all the rest are a great group, who give up everything for the people. I wonder if Aled would like his every move displayed to the public and media?
After the recent atrocity in London both the Queen and Prince Charles went speedily to the London hospitals to comfort those who were injured. And what about Prince William, Aled, in New Zealand? A shining example of a caring, sharing Prince and so like his mother Princess Diana.
No more of your drivel please Aled, unless you want to campaign to make Tony Blair or Ken Livingstone our President?
