FRIENDS of the disbanded Wigginton Sunday morning football club are getting set for a grand reunion this winter - and they are trying to track down as many others as possible.
The club broke down last year after 31 successful seasons and club stalwarts are keen to get the unique family together again for a night to remember.
Nearly 200 players, officials and supporters have already signed up for the event on November 26, which will take place in the Gimcrack rooms at York Racecourse.
Tickets cost £30 each and include a four-course meal and entertainment from a live band - and organisers are urging those interested to get them fast before they run out.
They are also trying to track down players Brian Dunn and Richard Blackwell.
Anyone with information or who would like to book a seat should contact Barrie Shipley on 01904 761809, Colin McClorg on 01904 490910 or David Clapham on 01904 639120 as soon as possible.
