WHO knows how magic works, but the numbers add up.
Brother and sister Romeo And Michele Stodart relocate to West London, after growing up in Trinidad and leaving New York, and bump into fellow siblings Sean and Angela Gannon, and all is perfect harmony. Like The Mamas and The Papas, they sound better than they look (and since when was that a crime?), and this debut album is the melodious sound of a summer high. You can't help but love the handclaps on first single Forever Lost and Love Me Like You; the boy-girl interplay; their thing for Buffalo Springfield; and Romeo's revitalising romanticism. Wait for the three-minute gap to hidden track Hymn For Her to tick by and its petal-delicate melodica is even more beautiful before the euphoric climax.
