I congratulate the Army for the wonderful day they gave the public last Saturday.

All the soldiers on duty were friendly, polite and tirelessly answered questions from young and old alike. There was just so much entertainment laid on, exhibitions and lots of participation equipment which the children thoroughly enjoyed.

With thrilling motorbike stunt riders, parachute falls, mock battles and the very professional Army bands, it truly was an action-packed day. My grandchildren are already looking forward to next year's event.

Many thanks to the Army and civilian helpers for all their hard work. It was worth it.
