YORK City supporters will be able to get an early glimpse of next season's youth team at Ampleforth on Thursday night.
The Minstermen juniors will play the Ryedale Beckett League division two side at Ampleforth playing fields to help raise funds to build new changing facilities and a pavilion.
Kick off is at 7pm, with admission £1 for adults and 50p for under-16s.
Alcoholic refreshments and soft drinks will be available, with a barbecue being held at the White Swan pub afterwards, costing £5.50 per head.
The new youth coach at KitKat Crescent, Andy McMillan, who heads up the under-16s section at City, has officially opened the Minstermen's new-look club shop.
