CHRIS Thompson threw 100, 140, 140 and a 121 finish for a terrific 12-darter for Sun Inn in the York Phoenix Monday Darts League against Huntington WMC.

Thompson's 12-darter gives him an aggregate of 37 in the Three Fastest Finishes competition, which is a record in York darts.

He added a 19-darter and was well supported by Jon O'Mara (180 and 180 for 18) and Kev Walton, who gamed in 16 and 20.

Best for Huntington WMC was Nick Harteveld and Phil Good with 20 darts each. Dave Kerr-John Smith included a superb 22-dart 701 leg.

Shepherd 'A' consolidated top spot after their 7-2 win at Acomb SC in which Heath Scaife (180 for 16), Mick Willsden (21 darts) and Paul Botterill (180 and a 157 finish for 15) saw them home. Acomb had Stu Morton out in 18 and Mike Harris with 17.

Paul Cooper's 180 for 16 darts inspired Cygnet 'B' to a narrow win against Ebor, who had 17 from Paul Armstrong.

Flag 'A' were 2-0 down against Shepherd 'B' in division two before opening up a 16-point lead at the top.

Rose & Crown's 7-2 win at Osbaldwick SC leaves them in second spot, while Britannia lost their way against lowly Independent, and Colin Gibson wrapped up Falcon's win at Edinburgh.

Anchor went back to the top of division three after whitewashing Holgate and Mount went second after a Mark Chamberlain maximum led to a 7-2 win at Alice.
