A "MISSING" head of a York school finally took his place among the education establishment's luminaries when a portrait was presented to chiefs.
The painting of Dr Michael Frost, headteacher at Archbishop Holgate's School between 1978 and 1984, will now hang at the school after it was presented to education chiefs.
Artist Susan Maud, from Rillington, was commissioned by the Archbishop Holgate's Association, based in York, and the London-based Archbishop Holgate's Society.
It means the school now has pictures of all of its headmasters dating back to the early 19th century.
The school's current head, John Harris, said: "We are delighted to complete the sequence."
