Famously discovered by Glastonbury guru Michael Eavis from a pile of demos, The Subways' journey from obscurity towards fortune is almost complete thanks to a stunning debut album.
Produced by Ian Broudie, of Lighting Seeds fame and the might behind The Coral and The Zutons, Young For Eternity is 13 tracks of pure potential. Combining the energy of The White Stripes with a strong leaning towards the Oasis wall of sound, this trio represent this year's greatest musical hope. Oh Yeah and Rock&Roll Queen have already jacked up the publicity, but Young For Eternity does not rest on its hit singles alone. It's a well crafted, well thought-out opening salvo indicating there's much more to come.
