YORK City's away clash at Halifax Town on Bank Holiday Monday will be televised live on Sky.
The Shay match will now kick off at 5.15pm and the decision to screen the August 29 game will see the Minstermen net £2,000.
Meanwhile, City are still trying to line up friendly opponents for the final Saturday before the Conference season begins on August 13.
But the KitKat Crescent club are experiencing difficulties with both the Football League and Premiership seasons kicking off on August 6.
City finance director Terry Doyle, however, has confirmed that a public match of "possible v probables" will be staged if suitable opposition cannot be found.
Communications director Sophie McGill has also assured supporters that Monday night's friendly against Sheffield Wednesday at KitKat Crescent is not in danger of being postponed because of a hole in the main stand roof.
McGill said: "There is a hole in the roof that is a minor problem but symptomatic of having an old stadium that has not been taken care of over the years. We are in the process of getting quotes but, if we don't get it fixed in time for Monday's match, there are interim measures we can take that will ensure the game goes ahead."
Summer signing Mark Convery netted during last night's 1-0 City XI victory at Ossett Town.
Andy Bishop also got his first run-out of the pre-season programme at the UniBond League club with trialists Nathan Peat, Emmanuel Panther, Henry McStay and Joe O'Neill all in the starting line-up.
