GNER managers are in line for success after being awarded management qualifications that will improve their business performance.
A total of 36 managers graduated this month with either certificates or diplomas in management studies from the University of York or the Open University, as part of GNER's sponsored development programme for its managers.
More than a third of the York-based rail operator's managers have now achieved a vocational management qualification in the last five years.
With support from the business, they have undertaken academic study over two years, fitting it into their working and domestic lives to ready themselves and GNER for greater success in the future.
