I THANK members of the Friends of Clifton Backies and of the management committee for their contributions in publicising and making the fourth annual family fun day a huge success at the weekend.
Attendance figures increased three-fold from previous years, to well above 600.
The day went without a hitch and a lot of positive feedback was received on the day and afterwards.
I also thank all the stall holders from environmental groups and the other activity providers whom I didn't get around to speak to on the day for their support.
This year has set the precedent for years to come.
It just goes to show that a good old family fun day is as popular as ever.
Roll on next year!
