England captain Michael Vaughan will bring most of his Ashes team to Headingley to take on Yorkshire in his Asda Twenty20 Challenge match on August 31.
Vaughan announced his England XI squad, which may be added to later: Vaughan (capt), Trescothick, Strauss, Pietersen, Bell, Flintoff, G Jones, Giles, Harmison, S Jones, Gough and A Flower.
The Yorkshire XI is: White (capt), Harvey, Jaques, McGrath, Wood, Lumb, Bresnan, Dawson, Dawood, Hoggard and Silverwood.
"I think Twenty20 cricket is fantastic for the development of the game," said Vaughan.
"I don't know what the state of the Ashes series will be by then but I will still enjoy the occasion. It should be a great spectacle and I certainly won't be bringing a team to Headingley to lose."
Before the match, a Yorkshire Under 15s team will play a Lancashire U15s team, Yorkshire's side being coached by Vaughan and Lancashire's by Andrew Flintoff.
"I am certainly looking forward to putting Freddie in his place," said Vaughan.
The Challenge match will begin at 5.30pm and 5,000 tickets have already been sold. Tickets are available from the Yorkshire ticket office, through the ticket hotline on 0871 222 0994 or on the club website, www.yorkshireccc.com
Prices are £8 for adults and £4 for concessions if bought in advance and £10 and £8 on the day.
