JAMIE Price and Emmanuel Panther have become the latest players to put pen to paper for York City.
The two trialists have made their KitKat Crescent stays permanent after impressing manager Billy McEwan during pre-season.
Right-back Price, 23, was released by Doncaster Rovers after playing 13 matches for City's League One neighbours last season.
Midfield anchor-man Panther, 21, started last season at Partick Thistle, where he scored twice in 13 appearances, before ending the campaign with eight games and a goal at Scottish Second Division side Brechin City.
The double signing takes McEwan's recruitment drive to nine players this summer and he has pointed out that there are still further additions in the pipeline with a new striker the priority after Danny Ekoku turned down the opportunity to sign a contract with the Minstermen.
McEwan said: "We are still looking for another striker but we have been doing for weeks as we need competition in that area. I am pleased that Jamie Price and Manny have both signed.
"The boy Price has been at Doncaster for a number of years and has got a bit of experience. He's got over an injury and has impressed me in the games he has played for us. He will be a quality addition to the squad we are assembling.
"Manny is a big, strong boy who will give us presence in midfield. He missed a lot of pre-season and has got a lot of catching up to do but will also bolster the squad."
Meanwhile City's remaining trialists James Dudgeon, Dave Pounder, Ryan Mallon, Farhad Afandiyev and Craig Mudd have lost the chance to impress after tomorrow's scheduled Reds v Blues match at KitKat Crescent was postponed today.
The game, which would have seen a probable City XI for the opening game of the season take on a possible side, was called off because of injuries within the squad.
Youngsters Lev Yalcin, Byron Webster, Bryan Stewart, David Stockdale and Stephen Baynes are all currently sidelined, while trialists Dudgeon and Mallon, as well as midfielder Mark Convery, are all carrying minor knocks.
Northern Electric Distribution will supply the sweatshirts and coats worn by City's ballboys and girls next season.
Former York City loan striker Richard Offiong has joined League One side Doncaster Rovers after impressing as a trialist at Belle Vue over the summer.
