BROOKE Bond could soon be Britain's number one "beach babe" if she catches the eye of judges.
The 22-year-old Pocklington beauty has made it to the last 20 in a modelling competition that attracted a massive 2,000 entries.
A year's modelling contract could await Brooke if she is chosen as the winner of the contest, organised by lad's magazine Nuts.
This weekend she will be battling it out at Fistral Beach, in Newquay, to be crowned as surfing's top beach babe in the Nuts Boardmasters Babes competition.
Judged by Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce and top models Lucy Pinder and Michelle Marsh, the winner will fly out to an exotic location for a portfolio shoot, prior to a year of work with top agency Sugarbabes.
Readers of the magazine have opted for Brooke as one of their top 20 and the housewife is excited at thinking her dream of becoming a top model could soon come true.
She said: "I have done other competitions for Nuts and have appeared about seven times in the magazine. I am really looking forward to it. I am excited but I am really nervous as well.
"I was one of FHM's top 100 High Street Honeys and it would be fantastic to win. My husband, Charlie, is chuffed about it and he is pleased that I am doing well. I have entered quite a few competitions and it would be great to do lad's mags, but it is hard to get into the industry. Of the 20 of us, ten get knocked out after the first day. It's so cruel!"
