FORMER York and District League team Crayke have been accepted into the RJF Homes Beckett Football League at the 11th hour.
An urgent league management committee meeting saw the club elected to the second division taking the number of teams in the league to 22 in total, with an even 12 in the lower tier.
The first round of the two Beckett League cup competitions have been drawn.
In the Gordon Harrison Memorial trophy, Union Rovers 2nds host Crayke, Thornton-le-Dale visit Rosedale, Helserton play Gillamoor, Sinnington are at home to Ryedale SC, Norton United Reserves play Kirkbymoorside Reserves and Union Rovers entertain St Clement's WMC.
The draw for the opening Ryedale Hospital Cup is: Ryedale SC v Black Swan Pickering, Union Rovers 2nds v Sinnington, Gillamoor v Heslerton, Ampleforth v ProPak, Aislaby United v Old Malton 3rds and Slingsby v Union Rovers.
