YORK won the Myers Burnell Cup by beating Clifton Alliance by 75 runs in a repeat of last year's final.
The two limited overs innings format produced plenty of runs at Clifton Park but York proved just too strong.
Batting first, York's early batsmen were consistent scorers with Nick Kay (44) to the fore.
Richard Musgrave clipped York's wings with three wickets in his final over to limit the score to 182.
South Australian Danny Harris (83) led a strong riposte with Musgrave (41) but when a lead seemed likely, the Alliance batting fell away to trail by 19.
York's second innings replicated the first with Kay scoring 67 as John Hunter grabbed four wickets.
Alliance were left needing 206 for victory but the early loss of Harris and Musgrave was a blow. Chris Malthouse (32) tried to revive fortunes but the target proved too much.
Harris had the consolation of receiving the man of the match award for his runs and leadership.
