RUNS have been flowing from the bat of Lady Lumley's School, Pickering, pupil Lorcan Barker this summer.
He started the season for the school by hitting 83 in the County Cup game against Ermysted Grammar.
He was selected to play for North Yorkshire at Under-14 and U15 level and scored a century for the U14s against Cleveland Schools.
Barker has also played for Yorkshire U14s and hit 53 against Doncaster Schools.
He plays regularly for Pickering CC U15s and is keen to make it into the first team. His longer-term ambition is to play as a professional.
A talented all-round sportsman, Barker also plays basketball for North Yorkshire and in goal as a footballer.
