IT was nice to see that another England team can win something, even if it's only one match.
However, yet again, the angling readership has been let down with no report of the England 'kids' great success over the last weekend.
The Under-16s fished in Serbia's Novi Sad Canal, in the World Youth Angling Championshipsand came away with the team and individual gold medals.
The Under-21s did not fare quite as well, but out of 21 teams they won team gold and individual silver.
The future of England's angling prowess at world level looks to be continuing for some years to come. Pity we can't say that of our other sports.
