LAST week Steve Green, the politically-correct Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire, authorised £2,000 of taxpayers' money be spent on 20,000 green ribbons for his officers to wear to "show solidarity" with the Muslim community.
Can I therefore assume, in the interests of police neutrality, a similar effort will be made this week to purchase 20,000 red, white and blue ribbons to "show solidarity" with the majority indigenous white English population who, like me, simply go to work and pay taxes? After all, it is our taxes that pay his wages and fund his generous pension.
I sincerely hope the Chief Constable of North Yorkshire will not fall for this New Labour nonsense.
The police should be deterring crime and catching criminals.
I would like to know, as a taxpayer, how the wearing of a green ribbon will deter determined trained psychopathic Islamic killers from further terrorist outrages. If I am wrong, and they do work, where can I buy one?
