NEVER mind handmade chocolates or smoked salmon, North Yorkshire people love their veggies.
Of 700 exotic products available through the Deli on the Doorstep scheme launched by Pickering-based Moorsfresh six months ago, there have been more sales of seasonal vegetable boxes, standard and organic, than anything else.
Tony Cooke, managing director of Moorsfresh said that as a result of his survey he has taken on board two new suppliers of fruit and vegetable boxes, The Balloon Tree at Stamford Bridge, and Low Leases Organic Farm in Bedale.
