I SHOULD like to send a message to Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair.

If I were you, in the light of the circumstances you find yourself in, especially with all the praise and the backing you have hadfrom the likes of Tony Blair (left), Charles Clarke and John Prescott, I would be reading the adverts in the situations vacant column of your local newspaper.

In the past where praise has been given to people such as yourself from Tony and his colleagues it is a certainty that they are getting ready to throw you to the lions and let the vultures pick over your carcass.

This has happened so many times in the past that I am surprised you have not noticed.

If Tony and his cronies cannot give their backing to our troops who they sent to war I am afraid you stand no chance.

All the best for the future.
