THIS York businessman has been shortlisted as Yorkshire's Director of the Year.
Mike Logue, managing director of Gamestation at Clifton Moor, has been named as a finalist in the Institute of Directors Yorkshire & Humber's Director of the Year Awards 2005.
The event, sponsored by Yorkshire Bank among others, seeks to recognise the best directors in the region.
Gamestation, which won the Evening Press Business of the Year title three years ago, is now the UK's fastest-growing retailer of video and computer games.
During the last two years, Mike, who has been a director of the company since 2002, has increased the number of stores from 80 to 230, recruiting more than 2,000 employees.
In the last 12 months, he has lead the company to its present position as the number one specialist games retailer, as voted by the Top 100 Industry Executives.
