It's back to work tomorrow for Frankie Dettori, who returns to the fray after spending much of the summer on the sidelines.

Dettori, who suffered a complicated fracture of his collarbone when taking a heavy fall from North Yorkshire sprinter Celtic Mill at Sandown on July 2, is set to ride at his local Newmarket course - and looks likely to figure on the scoreboard.

Britain's most popular jockey teams-up with Melodic Score, in the Renault Master Maiden Stakes.

Although the two-year-old is making his debut, he boasts an impressive pedigree and it would be no surprise to see him make a successful bow.

In-form sprinter The Jobber, trained by Michael Blanshard, provides Dettori with another solid chance in the Renault Clio Handicap.

The four-year-old has been in cracking form this summer and has excellent prospects of gaining his third success of the campaign.

Mont Etoile should not be overlooked in division I of the opening David Thom Memorial Maiden Stakes.

The William Haggas-trained filly created a good first impression when finishing fourth in a similar race on this course six weeks ago. Sure to have benefited from that experience, she should go well under Richard Quinn.

Baddam, a progressive three-year-old, trained by John Dunlop, figures at the right end of the weights in the Breheny Handicap and Ian Mongan's mount is fancied to record his third success of the campaign.

At Thirsk, Tough Love is selected to capture the richest race on the card, the £14,000 Adrian Tate Memorial Handicap over a mile.

Tim Easterby's gelding has become somewhat frustrating to follow, but the six-year-old, despite having failed to win this season, has run several good races in defeat.

He is awarded the nap vote to finally come up triumps.

Graham Island is fancied to come out on top in the stamina test on the card, the Wiske Handicap over two miles.

The four-year-old, trained at Newmarket by Geoff Wragg, came good at Catterick at the beginning of the month. Royston Ffrench, who was in the saddle on that occasion, takes the mount again tomorrow.

Sahara Silk gets the vote in the Greta Apprentice Fillies' Handicap over five furlongs.

Derek Shaw's four-year-old has proved a consistent money-spinner this summer and continues to look in good heart.
