I JUST had to put pen to paper. You hear so much bad press about Royal Mail. I have nothing but praise for the gentleman in customer services, York Central Office, and the van-driving postman.

I ordered some flowers to be delivered to a sick friend at home by post. Before the flowers arrived she was taken into York Hospital.

Those two men worked beyond and above the line of duty. The postman took the flowers to my friend's bedside in hospital.

I wish I had asked for their names to thank them so much for their kindness. Thank you.
