COUNCIL employees will call on householders to help them put correct refuse in the right bins (Letters, August 22).
I hope they don't get the council worker who came to empty my green box last year.
I watched him take all the newspapers I had collected in the green box and dump them in my wheelie bin.
When I asked why he had done this, he said I had put them in a plastic bag and they didn't take plastic bags.
I have not bothered to use my green box since. What is the point of saving your newspapers to see them dumped with all the other rubbish?
