CITY of York Council has a duty to the people of York to keep them informed on the performance of their car parking charges (August 24). After all, we vote for them!
Also, I should like to know why it is that residents in The Groves area (for example) have to pay residents' parking fees to park outside their own homes, and then along comes the parking meters to allow other users to park there.
Can someone tell me the reason for this?
Or is it council policy to act as a modern day Dick Turpin?
