Bartra Rock, who looked an unlucky loser at Musselburgh last week, heads to Redcar tomorrow in search of quick compensation and is awarded the Nap vote.
The gelding, trained near Richmond in North Yorkshire by Alan Swinbank, goes for the Clam Handicap over one and threequarter miles and looks to have an outstanding chance.
Bartra Rock finished a narrowly-beaten third in an apprentices' race on his latest outing after being denied a clear run on at least two occasions. Eventually pulled to the outside, he finished fast but it was too late. Dean McKeown takes over on the six-year-old tomorrow.
Swinbank and McKeown can also take the Cockle Maiden Auction Stakes with The Terrier.
A respectable third at Ayr on her debut, The Terrier was beaten just over a length into third at Catterick last week in the race won by Fayr Sky. She does not appear to face anything special tomorrow and could be hard to beat.
Richard Fahey promises to make a bold bid in the Carlsberg Redcar Straight-Mile Championship (Qualifier) Claiming Stakes with Dark Charm. Tony Hamilton's mount won at Hamilton ten days ago and is from a Malton stable in fine form.
Flying Edge could land the six furlong Constant Security Handicap. Eric Alston's gelding failed by only a head to get the better of The Bonus King at Carlisle last time and deserves compensation.
Top of the bill at Salisbury is the Lochsong Fillies' Handicap, in which Solar Power looks to have a good chance of opening her seasonal account.
Lightly-raced, James Fanshawe's four-year-old failed by little more than a length to beat Pango at Epsom last time. She would not need to improve much on that form, running over the same distance of seven furlongs, to prevail tomorrow.
The potentially high-class Cantabria appeals in the EBF/Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Dick Poole Listed Fillies' Stakes.
Sir Michael Stoute's youngster fulfilled her debut promise at Windsor, where she finished second, by winning in pleasing style at Leicester last time. Open to further improvement, Cantabria can score tomorrow.
