MORE than 3,000 York and North Yorkshire entrepreneurs, business owners and managers are expected to take part in Business Link York and North Yorkshire's events this year.
They will beam in on 26 workshops covering a range of topics, from business planning and development through to people development, sales and marketing, IT and e-commerce and finance.
According to Karen Marsden, Gateway and information manager, the people development workshop series is proving particularly popular, covering topics such as effective delegation, managing staff attendance, and staff appraisal and review.
She said: "In an increasingly competitive marketplace, providing a clear development programme for staff is one way of giving your business the edge."
Other popular workshop titles include finance de-mystified, understanding your accounts and sales success.
Already 2,500 delegates have registered to take part in the workshop programme this year - marking a 26 per cent increase on the same period last year.
