YORK City Knights second row forward Ian Kirke has joined Super League side London Broncos on a month's loan.
The former Dewsbury player has been training with Leeds Academy full-time in the last few months and has been one of the stars of the Knights' triumphant campaign.
London are at home to Huddersfield tonight.
He is the second Knights player to step up to Super League in the last few days. Winger Austin Buchanan is on loan at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and is included in their squad for tomorrow's game against relegated Widnes at Belle Vue.
York rugby league stalwart Mick Ramsden has spoken of his pride after being given the honour of leading the triumphant Knights team out on his last-ever home game on Sunday.
The match, which will see the Knights crowned LHF National League Two champions after the final hooter, brings down the Huntington Stadium curtain on the career of the 33-year-old (pictured above) after 14 seasons of sterling service to his home-town club.
