YORK City boss Billy McEwan will run the rule over on-loan striker Darren Mansaram against Doncaster Rovers reserves on Wednesday night before deciding whether to extend his KitKat Crescent stay.
Mansaram's one-month temporary stay with the Minstermen expires after the Pontin's Holiday League East home clash and McEwan then intends to discuss his future with Halifax manager Chris Wilder.
McEwan said: "There's another game on Wednesday so he will have another run-out in that and then we will speak to Halifax and take it from there."
Clayton Donaldson, David McGurk, Mark Hotte and Andy Bishop all nursed knocks over the weekend after Friday night's 1-0 victory over Cambridge United but are expected to be fit for training.
City's juniors lost 3-0 at home to Chesterfield on Saturday.
