WILBERFOSS had the expected division three victory over Yapham and now need just six points from their trip to Easingwold next Saturday to win promotion.
Yapham, a man short, were bowled out for 158 as Greg Nesbitt took 3-35. Barry Pearson hit a fine 70 and Clive Clark made 31 but Wilberfoss won by five wickets thanks to Phil Stothard's unbeaten 77.
Clifton Alliance romped to a ten-wicket victory over Heworth despite facing a target of 211-9.
Heworth's Jason Gatus made 101 and Dave Bell added 70. John Myers, having scored two tons in his last four games was then denied the opportunity of continuing his success when he was a spectator as Mark Taylor made 117no and Paul Atkinson 77no as the pair waltzed to 212-0.
