AFTER leading a nomadic life for most of the season, Scarborough were able to play only their second division two game at North Marine Road.
Welcome improvement to their outfield had restricted the number of club games at their ground but the Seasiders were able to earn the better of a draw against Bolton Percy.
Home skipper Martin Laidler led the way with 54 while Phil Seed (48) and Simon Holgate (49no) helped the Scarborough score to 209-4.
Three Bolton batsmen then got a decent start - Jamie Rigby (37), Jonathon Green (39) and Danny White (38) - to build a good response. But Neil Fletcher took 3-61 and Nick Tubbs 3-60 as Bolton were thankful to draw at 189-9.
