ON Sunday, September 4, a Battle Of Britain commemoration service and parades took place at RAF Linton-on-Ouse, presented through the joint efforts of the Yorkshire (Eastern) Region, RAF Association and the Royal Air Force.
I take this chance to publicly thank all those people who attended what was an outstanding event, culminating in a fly-past by the Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster. It was a memorable event.
Thank you.
John H Allison,
Project officer (civil),
RAF Association;
Stoop Close,
York.
