YORK City are hoping wounded trio Clayton Donaldson, Mark Hotte and Nathan Peat all recover in time to make Saturday's trip to Forest Green Rovers.
Donaldson (foot), Hotte (back) and Peat (calf) have all missed training this week, putting the likes of David Pounder, James Dudgeon and Dave Merris on standby for the Conference clash.
Pounder, Dudgeon and Merris all played for the reserves last night in a 1-0 victory over a strong Doncaster Rovers team.
Rovers included six players who have featured in their League One starting line-up this season, with record signing Paul Heffernan and highly-rated wingers Michael McIndoe and James Coppinger all given run-outs. But City claimed victory thanks to a 36th-minute Pounder penalty.
Pounder slotted home after Bryan Stewart had been fouled, which resulted in Phil McGuire being sent off and the visitors playing the rest of the match with ten men.
Minstermen midfielder Ashley Winn (shoulder), on-loan striker Darren Mansaram (groin) and defender Graeme Law all limped out of the action in the first half and their injuries were being assessed today.
City's postponed reserve team home clash against Scunthorpe has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 22, kick-off 2pm.
