A conference to help small and medium-sized businesses reap the benefits by thriving in an environmentally-sustainable city will be held near York next month.
Details of how businesses can enhance their profits by meeting the challenges of trading in environmentally-sustainable communities will be highlighted at the one-day event, entitled Business And The Environment - A City Of The Future, at the Central Science Laboratory, Sand Hutton, on October 6.
The conference, aimed at a commercial audience of chief executives, entrepreneurs, owner-managers, senior managers and financial directors, has again been organised by York-based commercial lawyers Denison Till, which has environmental law expertise. The conference is being staged in association with regional development agency Yorkshire Forward, Business Link York and North Yorkshire, University of York and Science City York. Ticket prices range from £69 to £99, with early bird discounts if booked before tomorrow. Phone Rebecca D'Agostino at Denison Till on 01904 561446.
