THE kick-off time for York City's Boxing Day home clash with local rivals Scarborough has been brought forward to 1pm on the advice of North Yorkshire Police.
City's Conference match at Gravesend and Northfleet on October 8 will also start at 1pm to avoid clashing with England's important World Cup qualifier against Austria.
Meanwhile, the Minstermen have rescheduled the home reserves match against Lincoln City, which was due to be played on Wednesday.
The two clubs will now meet next Wednesday at KitKat Crescent to prevent City's fringe players going three weeks without a game. Kick off is 7pm.
