New Seeker, the outstanding flagbearer for Clive Cox's successful Lambourn stable, can do his canny trainer yet another good turn at Goodwood tomorrow.

Runner-up in the Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster in March, New Seeker has been a prolific winner since.

After landing the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot on Knavesmire in June, he confirmed his well-being when gaining a fluent success at Newbury on his latest start.

Tomorrow his target is the £50,000 Merbury Catering Consultants Supreme Stakes. Difficult to pass once he's in front, New Seeker is likely to dominate from the start in this seven furlongs Group 3 contest and it would take a brave man to say that he won't still be dominating at the finish.

Philip Robinson, who has struck up such a good association with him this term, again has the mount.

Minority Report appeals in the Sharp Commercial Classified Stakes over a mile. Luca Cumani's gelding won handsomely at Newcastle two outings ago and has since been only narrowly defeated in handicap company at Hamilton.

He can resume winning ways tomorrow under Nicky Mackay and Minority Report gets my Nap vote.

Tight Squeeze can defy top weight in the Westler Foods Handicap over two miles.

The eight-year-old, a seasoned campaigner, has been running creditably in his latest starts over a distance short of two miles and may well appreciate the step up in trip tomorrow.

Over the sticks at Sedgefield, Possextown can give weight and a beating to his rivals in the Castlemaine XXXX Novices' Chase.

Nicky Richards's gelding, who relishes fast ground, has won his last two starts and was particularly impressive when a decisive scorer at Perth last week. Possextown can complete a quick hat-trick in the hands of Tony Dobbin.

Dalida was another comfortable scorer at Perth and Patrick Haslam's filly can follow-up in the Coors Brewery Claiming Hurdle. Tony McCoy has the mount on the four-year-old, who looks useful in this grade.

Mr Mischief, second at Perth, can give Haslam and McCoy a double by landing the Weatherbys Messaging Service Handicap Hurdle

Now Then Sid is selected to resume winning ways in the Black Sheep Brewery Handicap Hurdle. Keith Mercer's mount finished second to Red Flyer at Sedgefield a month ago and is a previous winner over this course and distance.
