Pickering Town hit the road again tonight for the sixth time in eight Northern Counties East League premier division outings this season with Eccleshill United in their sights.
Ninth-placed Pikes make the trip to Eccleshill knowing a win will leapfrog them above their opponents into the top six.
Last season's best travellers Harrogate Railway will be hoping to claw back some of their awesome away form tonight when they go to Thackley in a fourth v fifth tussle.
The odds are in Thackley's favour in light of their unbeaten home standing and Railway's disappointing away record of one win, one draw and two defeats so far.
The Rail's last away fixture ended with a 4-1 hammering at Mickleover Sports but Saturday's 2-0 win over Glapwell, in which Ryan Haigh scored on his return to the side, should have exorcised that ghost.
Tadcaster Albion go to early NCEL division one high-fliers Retford United in the first round of the NCEL Wilkinson Sword Trophy. Retford still boast a 100 per cent league win ratio, but manager Jim Collis will be hoping his charges can overturn that.
