Hot-shots Pocklington School are in the North East finals of the National Schools' Hockey Championship after winning the Humberside regional final.
The Under-14s girls fired in 16 goals on their way to winning the regional round - and didn't concede a single shot.
The first match saw an 8-0 defeat of Grimsby thanks to a Katie Atkinson hat-trick and strikes from Jessica Blake, Lydia Edwards, Abbie Brant, Rachel Kendall and Allison Felicidario.
The next round came with a target of eight goals to hit the anticipated standard to progress and they gladly obliged with another 8-0 score. Atkinson hit a second sucessive hat-trick, Kendall joined the treble club, Brant and Blake also scoring.
The team then had to beat or draw with Hymers and they came through 0-0 after some outstanding saves by goalkeeper Millie Rae and quality defence by Edwards.
They now make the trip to Sunderland on November 10 to take on the best of the entire North East region.
Bursts of dominance were not enough for York Schoolboys U15s' footballers to turn over a strong Sheffield squad.
York should have gone ahead inside ten minutes from a Tom Wilson corner but James Newnham's powerful header was cleared off the line and Danny Tuite's follow-up went just over the bar.
Similar flashes cropped up through the game. However, it was Sheffield, featuring a number of United and Wednesday academy players, who capitalised. A calamitous pinball opener bounced in via a post and goalkeeper Lewis Graham's chest, and Sheffield added two more either side of half time for a flattering 3-0 win that belied York's performance.
